San Francisco. Everybody's Favorite City. Baghdad-By-The-Bay. It's been called many things, but for some of us, it's just called home.
Growing up here and merely visiting here are pretty much opposite ends of the spectrum. Often we will take things or places for granted - and there's always the native's prejudices against certain areas, neighborhoods, places, whatever. It's the way it is.
So sit back and take a look at some of the places the locals like to go to.

Here are a few places where you might find some fun info. The Virtual Museum of the City of San Francisco is a GREAT place to spend time!
The Western Neighborhoods Project is a great place to learn about what it was like growing up in the "outerlands' of the Sunset and Parkside districts.
